Una estrategia de ingredientes funcionales adecuada puede ser una herramienta clave que&nbsp;favorezca&nbsp;los progresos realizados para mejorar este par\u00e1metro en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cades. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agrimprove.com\/es\/producto\/aromabiotic-poultry\/\">Aromabiotic\u00ae&nbsp;Poultry<\/a>&nbsp;proporciona una mezcla \u00fanica de \u00e1cidos grasos de cadena media (AGCM) que ayuda a asegurar el rendimiento de la pechuga y a mejorar la calidad de la canal.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rendimiento de la pechuga: enfoque de mercado y relevancia econ\u00f3mica\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En los pa\u00edses europeos y en la mayor\u00eda de los mercados occidentales la industria&nbsp;av\u00edcola&nbsp;de carne&nbsp;est\u00e1 impulsada en gran medida por la demanda de canales y despieces de alta calidad -ya sea para uso dom\u00e9stico o para&nbsp;su&nbsp;procesamiento industrial-, a diferencia de&nbsp;otras&nbsp;partes del mundo donde la venta de&nbsp;aves vivas sigue&nbsp;teniendo una gran importancia. Estas especificidades conducen a mejoras significativas de los principales rasgos asociados a las canales de pollo, como&nbsp;son&nbsp;el peso de la canal o el rendimiento de la misma, que se derivan esencialmente de la mejora gen\u00e9tica. La tabla 1 ofrece una visi\u00f3n general de la evoluci\u00f3n del peso&nbsp;vivo&nbsp;y el rendimiento de la pechuga de los pollos de engorde desde 1957 hasta ahora. En comparaci\u00f3n con otras partes del pollo, el valor de la carne de pechuga en los mercados minoristas de ciertos pa\u00edses puede&nbsp;ser&nbsp;el doble que el de las canales enteras y 5 veces m\u00e1s que el de otras piezas como los muslos. En&nbsp;consecuencia, m\u00e1s del 60% del valor de una canal de pollo puede atribuirse a la pechuga para los mataderos que producen despieces.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la mayor\u00eda de los consumidores occidentales muestran preferencia por la&nbsp;pechuga frente a otros cortes, debido a su perfil nutricional (bajo contenido en grasa) y a sus propiedades organol\u00e9pticas. Mejorar a\u00fan m\u00e1s el rendimiento de la pechuga y otros rasgos de la canal, como el contenido&nbsp;en&nbsp;grasa, puede ser un factor destacado para favorecer la rentabilidad de la industria av\u00edcola.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rendimiento de la pechuga: enfoque de mercado y relevancia econ\u00f3mica\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Varias estrategias pueden contribuir a mejorar el rendimiento de la pechuga, ya sea optimizando los factores gen\u00e9ticos o influyendo en el entorno. Estas estrategias incluyen la suplementaci\u00f3n de ingredientes funcionales en los piensos. En 2019 se realiz\u00f3 una prueba&nbsp;en la Rep\u00fablica Checa para evaluar el efecto de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agrimprove.com\/es\/producto\/aromabiotic-poultry\/\">Arombiotic\u00ae&nbsp;Poultry<\/a>, una mezcla cuidadosamente equilibrada y patentada de&nbsp;AGCM&nbsp;purificados, sobre las caracter\u00edsticas de la canal de&nbsp;pollos&nbsp;Ross 308 hasta los 35 d\u00edas de edad. En los machos se observ\u00f3 una mejora num\u00e9rica del rendimiento de la pechuga (+0,4%) y una reducci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica del rendimiento de grasa abdominal\/peso vivo&nbsp;(-0,07%).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas mejoras del rendimiento de la pechuga podr\u00edan corresponder a un aumento de los ingresos de hasta 6 c\u00e9ntimos de euro por pollito, dependiendo de los precios de la carne de pechuga.
