We are excited to announce the appointment of Doris Yu as Managing Director of Asia. With an impressive tenure exceeding 20 years in the food and agriculture industry, Doris Yu will be responsible for overseeing Agrifirm’s business in the Asia region. Doris Yu joined us on March 25th, 2024.
Doris Yu joins us from a distinguished career that includes leadership positions at global companies such as Cargill and Royal DSM. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Yara International. With a proven track record of strategic leadership and business development, Doris is positioned to lead our team in further advancing the company’s strategy and growth initiatives in Asia.

The appointment of Doris Yu comes as Jeroen Jeuken, our Managing Director Asia, prepares to pursue other opportunities after nearly a decade of dedicated and committed service to us. Under Jeroen’s leadership, the Asian region has achieved significant milestones in business development and growth, setting the foundation for further progress. He has played a pivotal role in navigating us through significant challenges in Asia, including the complexities posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the African swine fever outbreak. We extend our sincere gratitude to Jeroen for his contributions and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
To ensure a seamless transition, Jeroen and Doris will work together in the coming period to facilitate a smooth handover process for our customers and stakeholders.
